Honors Courses

Below you will find a list of courses that have previously been offered with Honors sections, both within COEHP and in the State Minimum Core. Clicking on a course number will take you to that course's description in the Catalog of Studies.

The Honors College also offers unique Honors courses each semester. You can find information about upcoming courses on the Honors College website. Keep in mind that these courses may require students to submit an application before enrolling.

Additionally, within all majors the following courses are required for COEHP Honors students:

  • (department) 390H1 – Honors Thesis/Project Tutorial
    • Exercise Science students may substitute EXSC 372H3 – Honors Research Methods in Exercise Science for EXSC 390H1
    • Public Health students may subsitute PBHL 372H3 – Honors Research Methods in Public Health for PBHL 390H1
    • Nursing students will complete NURS 384H2 – Honors Foundations of Scientific Evidence in Nursing Practice in place of NURS 390H1
    • Physical Education students will complete PHED 399H1 in place of PHED 390H1
  • (department) 498HV – Honors Thesis/Project (total of 3 hours)
